  • The apartment was just lovely, in a great location overlooking Fishcombe Cove. It took about 15 minutes to walk through Battery Park to the town, so it was near to all the fun, but was quiet at night.

  • Location was great, it gave us exercise as well as being away from the town. Sea view too although the balcony bar was right in ones eyeline if sat inside. The light, bright decor was superbly done, and gave a nautical theme to the holiday.
  • Beautiful apartment, the photos do not do it justice. The beds were super comfy, the towels were thick and fluffy and they had decent pillows too which is always a win
  • Plover 2 was a lovely clean and comfortable apartment with a sea view. Had everything you needed for a great holiday. Milk and biscuits provided on arrival. There was a heated swimming pool. Or you could walk down to the cove for a swim in the sea.
  • Lovely clean chalet with more nice little extras and bits and bobs that you would expect to make you feel welcome. Handover was faultless, everything was clean and as described. What more can you ask for. Perfect stay, will be back next year.

Location Information

The Cove is a stone’s throw away from the Battery Gardens. There is a local bus service from the nearby Mount stop (2-minute walk) for those not fancying the longer 15-minute stroll into the harbour. From the harbour you can then catch a ferry or bus to the wider Torbay and South Devon area, including destinations such as Torquay and Dartmouth. Torquay then offers access far beyond via the Great Western Railway.
