When the summer crowds drift away and the crabbing lines are packed up for another year, a different kind of Brixham comes to life. The harbour still hums, not with the bustle of tourists, but with the steady rhythm of local life. Fishing boats head out before dawn, gulls circle lazily above the water, and the scent of salt and fresh coffee fills the air as the town awakens.

We’re locals, so we know this is when Brixham truly shines. There’s a warmth that settles in with the cooler days, from cosy pubs with open fires to quiet walks along the breakwater where you might only meet a handful of friendly faces (and maybe a dog or two).

The town buzzes in its own way: with laughter spilling out of local pubs, lights twinkling around the harbour, and a real sense of community in the air. It’s the perfect time to escape and discover the Brixham we love, the one we get to enjoy all year round.

And when you stay with My Brixham Holiday, you’ll have a cosy, welcoming home right in the heart of it all. So, wrap up warm, take your time, and see for yourself how magical Brixham feels in November.
